This would be the 4th installment of Photosynthesis, the third one I’ve been invited to play music at and the best one yet. The team joined forces with the Makah Native American tribe who live on the very northwest tip of the Olympic Penninsula. I consider this invitation very special considering how horribly our country has treated the people who lived on the land before us. The Makah were in full force and seemed to have a great time as 900+ freaks weirdos and scenesters amassed on their land. We were there for 4 days and got to see quite a bit including some great times with friends in what we ended up calling CrabTown. Its miles and miles of tidal flats with all sorts of oceanic debris and strange strange creatures that had us crawling on all fours going “no seriously WHAT THE FUCK?” The Crabtown monicker is inspired by a It’s Always Sunny in Philedelphia where they decide to become crab people and “Live by the Crab ; Die by the Crab”
Anways, personal in-jokes aside The land is pretty boggling in terms of how beautiful it is. The event was amazing. Soon Ill post a link to the recording of the set i played which also went over really well.
